October 28th—here's where I'm taking my kids this week

I polled via IG stories over the weekend to see if you preferred a Friday events email or if we should keep it to our usual Tuesdays at 5:30pm. It was close but Tuesday came out on top. It is nice to switch it up every now and then.

Happy Halloween week! We’re wrapping up costume diy hell (🤪) but I know it will be worth it come Friday. Last week, we went to Nights of The Jack in Calabasas. It’s been one of our yearly staples since we lived in the valley but I’m not sure if we’ll go back next year. After the fourth year in a row, there hasn’t been any new additions and my kids are kinda over it. I’m bummed we didn’t get to make it to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas in concert at the Bowl (it was only a 2-day show) but hopefully it will come back next year. If you did anything cool that we missed, let me know so I can add it to our list for next year. ICYMI, we shared our favorite Halloween house via TikTok, here! It’s such a gem in person. <3

Halloween Hop on Montana
Friday 10/31 Montana Avenue’s Annual Halloween Hop is back! Halloween themed activities, trick or treating and more! Enjoy a family friendly, neighborhood stroll down one of the cutest streets in Santa Monica. (3pm - 6pm)

📍 Woodland Hills
4th Annual Trick or Treating at Topanga Village
Friday 10/31 Head to Topanga Village for ghoulish games, a costume parade, music, and evening entertainment for families. Tricks, treats & fun for all ages. Costumes encouraged! (5pm - 7pm)
