May 28th—here's where I'm taking my kids this week
Migration Celebration at Ballona Discovery Park, Ready, Set, Ready at Common Space Brewery and STEM FEST
Our free weekly email keeps you in the loop of local kid-friendly events and things to do 🤝
Hope everyone had a nice MDW!
I always forget how completely exhausting three day weekends with kids are. Mine aren’t in school Fridays so ours was extra long. 😆 Their ages are SO cute and peak funny right now but wow is it tiring. IYKYK.
We kept it pretty chill: hung out with friends, saw Lilo + Stitch in theaters, had a pool day, and soaked up as much outside time as possible. It was nice to have a slow family weekend at home and since most people were out of town, traffic was kind of a dream.
I mentioned this via Instagram stories last week, but we’re working on a master list for parenting/kids experts (think party planning, postpartum care, OT resources, etc). I’m deep in research mode, but the best recs always come from friends, so if you have someone you swear by, hit reply and let me know!
