May 21st—here's where I'm taking my kids this week

Dads Kickball and Family Picnic, Topanga Days and Play Day in The Park!

Our free weekly email keeps you in the loop of local kid-friendly events and things to do 🤝

Trying something new this week and sharing a little recap of where we ended up going as a family - kind of a follow-up to what we shared in the last newsletter.
We checked out Clockshop’s People’s Kite Festival at LA State Historic Park on Saturday and it was so good. The energy was amazing - so many kites in the air, families working together to get them up, and this collective moment of everyone looking up at the sky. It was sweet and I definitely had just as much fun if not more than my kids?

Bonus: we finally checked out Highland Park Brewery → park pipeline (directly across the street) and it was perfect. Easy lunch options, drinks, etc. It was our first time and it’s definitely going into rotation for next time we’re east side. Tons of families and an easy spot to hit up before or after park time. More recs coming soon, but if you went somewhere amazing last week - hit reply and share it. We always want to know what you’re loving.

x Carissa
