Thursday 6/6 Head to Amelia Earhart Library for an interactive story time. Ahoy Matey! Pirate Puppet Show starring Petey the parrot will have little ones laughing as they help Captain Funny-Face find treasure! (11am - 12pm)

📍 Mid City
Saturday 6/8 Academy Museum is hosting a fun workshop: Puppets and Pride with Bob Baker Marionette Theater in honor of pride month. Kids will celebrate love, self-acceptance, and community through a musical marionette lineup of proud puppets performing a confection of medleys from LGBTQ+ icons, queer history, and more! (12:30pm - 2:30pm)

Friday 6/7 Movies at The Steps is back for summer! This week they’re playing Freaky Friday starting at sunset. Enjoy complimentary popcorn and bring a blanket to sit on. Here’s what’s playing the rest of the month! (8:30pm)

Saturday 6/8 pLAy at Platform is hosting a fun event alongside ANYWAY magazine in honor of National Best Friends Day. Enjoy music, light bites, fun activities like a diy charm bar, sticker station and freebies! (5pm - 8pm)

Saturday 6/8 A celebration of classic animation at Beverly Cinema with a feature-length presentation of OG cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Tweety with CARTOON CLUB! (10am)

📍 Altadena
Sunday 6/9 Plant Material in Altadena is hosting a Plant Dye Party with Berbo Studio. Enjoy kids crafts and free compost and a menu of blank a la carte items to dip including parent + kid baseball caps, cotton bandanas and more. (11am - 4pm)
