 📍 Frogtown
Friday 8/2 Frogtown First Fridays Movie Night is a free family-friendly event hosted at ceramics studio, Sooki Studio. Play with clay from 5-8pm and hang out for a kid-friendly movie right after. Enjoy popcorn, cotton candy, date cake and kebab wraps and friends! (5-9pm)

📍 La Cañada
Friday 8/2 & Saturday 8/3 We just checked out Descanso Gardens for the first time to see their new mini train railroad display and it was a HIT with our 4 year old! They have a Little Explorer program (ages 2-5) that offers arts and crafts and nature exploration each month. Free with admission! (9:30am - 11:30am)

📍 Pasadena
Friday 8/2 Don’t miss First Fridays at Kidspace! One of our favorite spots in the city offers one Friday a month at no cost. Reservations required! (4pm - 7pm)

📍 Long Beach
Saturday 8/3 Big Fish Little Fish at Aquarium of The Pacific is a class designed for 3-6 year olds to learn together through play, movement, and exploration. Kids will use their observation skills to explore shapes, colors, and textures while getting to touch and feel water animals! (9am - 10:30am)

📍 Playa Vista
Tuesday 8/6 Head to Playa Vista Branch Library for a special musical program, Drum to Learn, led by child development specialist, Krickett Jones Halpern. For all ages! No musical experience required. (11am - 11:45am)
