📍 Woodland Hills
Wednesday 7/3 Check out a special puppet show at Woodland Hills Branch Library, Marionette Magic by Franklin Haynes Marionettes! The workshop includes a brief exploration of the art of puppetry, followed by a puppet where children will get to interact directly with the puppets. (3pm - 4pm)

📍 DTLA
Thursday 7/4 This year’s Gloria Molina Grand Park’s 4th of July Block Party will have art activities, sports games, live music and dancing! Enjoy LA’s favorite food trucks and DJs and the return of Gloria Molina Grand Park Ferris Wheel! Expect the return of a 75-foot Ferris wheel and a 90-foot fiberglass “Super Slide” that kids will love. (4pm - 9:30pm)

📍 Santa Monica
Friday 7/5 Head over to Cayton Children’s Museum for Chalk it Up, a group outdoor chalk drawing event that will transform the sidewalk with art. This week, guest artist Melanie Olivias will join in on the fun! (10:30am - 12:30pm)

📍 Playa Del Rey
Friday 7/5 Beach Movie Nights at Dockweiler Beach is playing Finding Nemo this Friday on the sand! Bring beach chairs or a blanket to sit on. (8pm)

📍 Mid City
Saturday 7/6 Head to Academy Museum for this month’s Drop-In Workshops for Families: Claymation! Filmmakers use armatures and clay to create movement with each frame that is captured. Create your own Claymation stop-motion animation! (12:30pm - 2:30pm)
