January 29th—here's where I'm taking my kids this week

Young People's March AGAINST ICE, Cartoons & Cereal & Plant Day at Central Library

Our free weekly email keeps you in the loop of local kid-friendly events and things to do 🤝

Know a parent who’s always asking what to do with their kids? Forward this to them — or tell them to subscribe here!

This past week has been a heavy one. The only thing I’ve found comfort in is seeing the community come together on and offline to share support and stand up for what’s right. Navigating all of this while trying to parent and being riddled with worry about the world our kids are growing up in is scary. Being in Los Angeles where I feel such a sense of belonging gives me hope, but my heart continues to break for many places all over the world and in our country where there is still so much hate.

There is a Young People’s March Against Ice happening this Sunday on the eastside and it feels like just the thing I need this week to channel all that I’m feeling while being able to include my kids. More on that one below and a few others that caught my eye this week. Sending you all a lot of love. ❤️
