2/17 & 2/18 Heal The Bay is having Whale of a Weekend two day event. Visitors can feel the heft of a whale rib, check out bristly baleen, and learn more interesting facts about these gentle giants at the Aquarium through story time, audio interactive, and fun crafts. (12pm - 4pm)

2/17 Go enjoy a family matinee at Academy Museum. This weekend it’s Great Mouse Detective! (11am)

2/17 Car obsessed littles will love this month’s theme at Petersen Auto Museum. Little Sparks: Build a Car workshop series is an interactive way for little ones (ages 3-6) to explore the world of cars. (9am - 10am)

2/17 & 2/18 Grumpy Monkey The Musical is now showing every weekend through 3/3! Best suited for kids 4-8. (times vary)

2/18 Head over to Shizuka Kusayanagi for Japanese Marbling Suminagashi in their art for all ages series. Learn the art of Suminagashi marbling, a mindful practice that dates back to the twelfth century in Japan. Sit, breathe, and float ink on water, creating beautiful patterns on paper. (11am)
