December 10th—here's where I'm taking my kids this week

December is the most fun but so tricky as a parent. School parties, gift shopping, elf magic, attempting to do all the holiday things and also just stay sane and present. I know we’re all feeling it. There are a few key events I’m trying to make sure we check off our list this month but really taking it kinda slow after our last playdate event that really was such a special one.

We shared a little recap video on social to close out our Family Holiday Hang captured via a 90s camcorder - nostalgic and the perfect essence of how it felt in my opinion! Christmas Kids Club at Sportsmen’s Lodge
Thursday 12/11 Enjoy a Christmas themed Kids Club at The Sportsmen’s Lodge. Expect a festive visit with Santa + Mrs. Claus plus face painting, music, and more merry activities. (4am - 6pm)

📍 Los Feliz
Polar Express Storywalk at Travel Town
Thursday 12/11 (+ multiple dates in December) The Polar Express is one of our most loved holiday stories at home so this is definitely a must for us. Families can follow an interactive story time while walking along Travel Town. (Open Tuesday - Sunday in December, 10am - 5pm)

Holiday Cheer on The Pier
Thursday 12/11 SM Pier is hosting a variety of cute holiday festivities for the month for families through 12/18. Highlights include a Bob Baker show, story time with Books & Cookies and Letters to Santa with Paint:Lab! For this week’s lineup, Bob Baker will have two shows at 5pm and 6:30pm and you can check out the other festivities in between. (5pm & 6:30pm)

Platform Snow Day
Saturday 12/13 Platform is hosting their annual Snow Day and it’s always such a fun family outing. We’ve been previous years and the kids have such a blast. They will also have a kids craft table too! (11am - 2pm)

📍 Westchester
Winter Fest at Westchester Park
Saturday 12/13 This free family-friendly celebration brings the neighborhood together to kick off the holiday season with a skate jam, real snow, arts + crafts, holiday treats, pancakes, and more! (9am - 1pm)
