12/21 Head to the beach for Local’s Night: Holiday Extravaganza at the Santa Monica Pier. Bob Baker’s Marionette Theater will play two shows, kids can get holiday photos and drop off their letters to Santa! (3:30pm - 10pm)

12/18-12/23 Family Week at Rooftop Cinema Club will be playing all the holiday classics like Elf, Home Alone, The Grinch and Santa Claus! (times vary)

12/21 Christmas Story Time with Books and Cookies 
This high energy, interactive Musical Story Time will get you and your little ones into the holiday spirit. (10am - 11am)

Ice at Santa Monica invites guests to an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration tailored for families and kids of all ages. Experience ice skating under the stars, enjoy food and drinks, and join in the excitement of a countdown to midnight (East Coast time)!

📍 Santa Barbara 
Take a quick road trip to MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation is hosting their annual Noon Year’s Eve Pajama Party for all ages. Enjoy a museum-wide celebration while you interact with MOXI’s exhibits and enjoy themed activities. The event will include a lively countdown to 2024, confetti, noisemakers + a dance party!

📍 San Marino
This is one of the best parks for family picnics. It’s also great for babies/infants if you just need a grassy area to lay a blanket down with some shade and toys. Lots of swings, todder-sized slides and a tree house that kids can climb into!
Important to note that there is a $5 charge on weekends if you are not a resident of San Marino.
Bonus points for being around the corner from Huntington Library!
