Friendly reminder that we’re collecting unopened school supplies for School on Wheels, a non-profit dedicated to supporting families affected by homelessness. Please bring an item from the list (found on the invite) You’ll be entered to win goodies from Play 2 Progress for your donation, including a month-long class pass! See you there :)

 📍 Culver City
Saturday 8/10 One of the most fun and playful kid brands is popping up at the best kids store, pLAy at Platform! Check out All Small Co at pLAy this Saturday. Surprise giveaways with all purchases, will supplies last! (12-5pm)

📍 Highland Park
Wednesday 8/7 Bob Baker is continuing their Summer Matinee program. This week check out, Enchanted Toyshop Matinee at Bob Baker Marionettes! (10:30am)

📍 Atwater Village
Wednesday 8/7 Head to Atwater Village Branch Library for a special Dodgers Storytime! A Dodgers alumni player will visit the library to share fun activities such as book read-alouds, trivia questions, movement activities and more! (4pm - 7pm)

📍 Mid City
Saturday 8/10 Film ethusiasts should check out this cool drop-in workshop for families happening at Academy Museum. The Miniature Set Design class showcases how filmmakers use miniature sets to bring the worlds they imagine to life. Families can design and create their own miniature sets they would love to see used in a future film! (12:30pm - 2:30pm)

Sunday 8/11 The Getty’s drop-in family workshop this month is good one! Making Scents of the Courtyard of Versailles: French Perfume Workshop will allow kids to make their own perfume using historical ingredients and scent combinations favored at the Court of Versailles in France. For all ages! (11am - 2:30pm)
