April 2nd—here's where I'm taking my kids this week
Clay Bunny Workshop, Bunny Run & a Popsicle Magic Party

Our free weekly email keeps you in the loop of local kid-friendly events and things to do 🤝
Know a parent who’s always asking what to do with their kids? Forward this to them — or tell them to subscribe here!
Spring break. Road trip. Snacks. Take a nap. Peppa Pig. Where’s the charger? Zyrtec. Unpack. Go to bed. Wash your hands. Teeth brushed? Where’s the remote? Hives. Eat your dinner. Are we there yet? Stop fighting. Sand. Where’s the toothpaste? Sunburn. Wine. Stop hitting. Don’t eat that. Missing socks. It’s in the blue bag. Spills. Put that down. Can’t find it. Family picture! Put your shoes on. Wipes. Hungry. Go to bed please.
This about sums up my week 🙂
Enjoy the holiday weekend! Look out for a special RSVP email coming at you on Saturday!

Popsicle Party at Burden of Proof
Saturday, April 4th (5pm – 7pm)
Celebrate Sungold Ice Pops (personal fave popsicles ever) launching at Burden of Proof with a kid-friendly evening of free pops (while they last), NA drinks, and magic from Jude the Kid Conjurer. Easy and fun, my kinda event! Stop by for the popsicles, stay for the magic.
📍 Altadena
Clay Bunny Workshop at The Bunny Museum
Saturday, April 4th (11am – 2pm)
Get hands on at The Bunny Museum and sculpt your own clay bunny to help rebuild their collection. Free, all ages, and all supplies provided. Drop in and create something sweet (while materials last). We <3 you Altadena.
📍 Long Beach
Bunny Run at The Bay
Saturday, April 4th (10am)
A playful, anything goes “run” from the beach to the bridge. Dress up encouraged - bunny ears, inflatable costumes, and all the festive extras. Guests are encouraged to run, hop or waddle along the way. No registration needed, just show up and hop along for photo ops, surprises, more.
📍 DTLA
Easy Mornings at Grand Park
Saturday, April 4th (10am – 2pm)
A full morning at the park with yoga, music, puppets (hi Bob Baker), and a DJ set, plus face painting, crafts, a native plant scavenger hunt, and the splash pad officially on. Cute, free day for families.
*These aren’t ALL the family-friendly events happening this week in and around LA, just the best (IMO). We keep it short and curated—follow on IG + TT for more!
